Wayne Vaughn age 63 of Guin, AL died Monday, May 9, 2011 at his residence. 

Born in Lamar County, he is the Son of the late Paul Earnest and Kate Bozeman Vaughn, and the Husband of Lavonne Jeffreys Vaughn.  He had lived in Guin all of his life, was a member of the Guin First Baptist Church, and was a Mason and Eastern Star.  He spent 2 special years as a volunteer at Sunset Manor Nursing Home after retiring from the rail road. 

He is survived by his Wife, Lavonne Jeffreys Vaughn of Guin, AL, 2 Daughters, Tracie (Andy) Smith and Stefanie (Carl) Weeks all of Winfield, AL, 2 Grandchildren, Alec and Ty Weeks, A Sister Mary Sue Norris of New Market, AL, A Brother, Paul Vaughn of Riverside, AL and a Special Friend, Kacy Junkin. 

Services held Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 2:00 pm from the Guin First Baptist Church with burial in the Guin City Cemetery.  Bro. Ronnie Elmore, Bro Payt Junkin, and Wayne Silas officiating.
