Anthony (Tony) Thomas Weeks age 47 of Sulligent, AL died Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at his residence.
He was born in Lamar County and had lived in the Sulligent area most all of his life. Tony was of the Baptist Faith and loved watching the History Channel along with the Discovery and Animal Planet. He loved fishing, boating and anything to do with being outdoors. He had worked for the Seamar - Hornbeck Company as an engineer.
Survived by his wife: Tonya Kay Weeks of Sulligent, AL, his Mother: Rebecca Ann Gosa of Sulligent, AL, Two Daughters: Lacy and Allie Weeks both of Sulligent, AL, One Son: Tranon Frederick of Hackleburg, AL, Three Sisters: Sherry Simmons and Ruthie (William) Ives Both of Sulligent, AL and Tracy (Jerry) Merchant of Vernon, AL, Two Brothers: Wayne and Randy Weeks of Sulligent, AL, Two Grandchildren: Aleah Hope Bonman and Wesley Bryson Frederick and a Host of Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in death by his Father: Walter Thomas Weeks and a Sister; Bethany (Beth) Green.
Services held Friday, July 29, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Sulligent City Cemetery. Bro. James Godsey officiating.
