Romie C. Taylor age 92 of Winfield, AL died Friday, May 20, 2011 at his residence. 

Born in Marion County to the late Walter and Susie Berryhill Taylor and the husband of the late Doris Flynn Taylor. He had lived in the Siloam area most of his life and was a member of the Siloam Baptist Church. Romie loved squirrel hunting, gardening and was an avid Alabama football fan and a big fan of the Chicago Cubs baseball team. He was a saw miller and a farmer; he retired from the Continental Conveyer Plant.  

Survived by a Son: Glenn Taylor and his Wife Maria of Winfield, AL, One Brother: Berlie Albert Taylor of Winfield, AL, One Grandson: Ken Glenn Taylor of Winfield, AL and Several Nieces and Nephews. 

Preceded in death by his Parents; Walter and Susie Berryhill Taylor and His Wife Doris Flynn Taylor. 

Services held Sunday, May 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Siloam Cemetery. Bro. Delbert Preuninger officiating.
