Roger Dale "Stump" Humbers age 56 of Sulligent, AL died Sunday, February 6, 2011 at his residence. 

Roger was born in Sulligent, AL in the old Sulligent Clinic on September 17, 1954. He was a member of the Gattman First Baptist Church and a life long resident of the Sulligent area. He served in 877th  Battalion in the National Guard and was a Mason. Roger had worked for the City of Sulligent in maintenance department but was know more for his love of farming, football, singing and spending time with his family and friends. 

Survived by One Daughter: Ammie Lee Day and her husband Juston of Robertsdale, AL, His Mother: Jimmie Mitchell Barnes and her husband Ed of Sulligent, AL, two Sisters; Wanda Guthery and her husband Rodger and Carolyn Egger and her husband Roger all of Sulligent, AL, A Special Aunt: Florence Humbers of Sulligent, AL and A Special Friend: Deborah Castle of Sulligent, AL, Three Nieces, Two Nephews, Six Great Nieces and Two Great Nephews. 

Preceded in death by his Father: Arie H. Humbers who died in 1988.   

Services held Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 11:00 AM from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Macedonia Cemetery. Bro. Mark Seals and Bro. Reagan Rye officiating. 

Full Masonic Services will be held at the Chapel of Norwood Funeral Home, and the Mason’s will serve as Pallbearers.
