Mellie Gosa age 79 of Sulligent, AL died Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Winfield, AL. 

She was born in Lamar County to the late Carlos and Lillie Egger Gosa. Mellie Loved gardening, crossword puzzles, quilting, books and going to the beach. She was a life long resident of Lamar County and a member of the Prospect Primitive Baptist Church.

Survived by A Sister in law: Frances Gosa of Sulligent, AL a Nephew: Patrick W. Gosa of Sulligent, AL a Niece; Tammy (Ronnie) Smith and their children Cody and Kiley Smith all of Sulligent, AL and a Host of other Nieces and Nephews. 

Preceded in death by her Parents, Carlos and Lillie Egger Gosa and Three Brothers and Five Sisters. 

Services held Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 11: AM from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Love Joy Cemetery. Bro. Jeff Chaffin officiating.
