Lorene Conner age 96 of Guin, AL died Monday, June 06, 2011 in the Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Guin. 

Born in Hamilton, AL she is the Daughter of the late John Allen and Sibbie Bowlin Sandlin and the Wife of the late James Robert Conner.  She had lived in the Guin area all of her life.  She had worked in the Guin Elementary School Lunch Room and was a member of the Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church. 

She is survived by 2 Daughters, Patsy (Marshal) McDonald of Duncanville, AL and Sue (James) Yates of Guin, AL, A Son Jerry (Jo Ann) Conner of Port Byron, IL, 10 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren, and 2 Brothers, Charlie Adams of California and John Billy Sandlin of Marion, AL. 

She was also preceded in death by a Son, Bob Conner. 

Services held Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 11:00 AM from the Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church with burial in the adjoining cemetery.  Bro. Keith Rhudy and Bro. Mike Beckon officiating.
