Kenneth Ray age 86 of Greenwood Springs, MS died Friday, March 25, 2011 in the Generations of Vernon, AL.
He was born in Monroe County Mississippi to the late James Wesley and Myrtice Pickle Ray and the husband of the late Mary Whitehead Ray. Kenneth had lived in the Greenwood Springs area all of his life. He retired from the Walker MFG. Co. in Aberdeen, MS as a machine operator. Kenneth also enjoyed visiting and talking with his friends especially his friends in the area Flea Markets.
Survived by Two Nieces: Bobbie Green of Double Springs, AL and Betty Bainbridge of Moody, AL and One Nephew: Johnny Wilson of Olive Branch, MS.
Preceded in death by His Parents: James Wesley and Myrtice Pickle Ray, His Wife Mary Whitehead Ray and a Sister: Christine Wilson.
Services held Sunday, March 27, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Blaylock Cemetery. Bro. Dale Ford officiating.
Visitation: Sunday, March 27, 2011 from 12 noon until 2:00 PM just prior to the service time.
