James Edward Guyton age 78 of Hamilton, AL died Monday, November 14, 2011 in Huntsville, AL. 

James was born in Lamar County to the late Leroy and Rachael Iradois Woodham Guyton. He was of the Baptist Faith and a Member of the United Auto Workers. He had retired from Farmall Tractor Company as a machinist and loved carpentry. 

Survived by Four Sons: Michael Guyton of Moline, IL, Terry and Rick Guyton both of Huntsville, AL and Perry Guyton of Hamilton, AL Two Sisters: Agnes Guyton Gates of Vernon, AL and Doris Guyton (Fred) Price of Madison, AL One Brother: Cecil Roland (Kay) Guyton of Sulligent, AL Eight Grandchildren and Seven Great Grandchildren and a Host of Nieces and Nephews. 

Preceded in death by his Parents: Leroy and Rachael I. Guyton, his Wife: Margel Joan Guyton and a Sister: Rena Mae Guyton Burns and a Brother: L.D. Guyton. 

Services held Friday, November 18, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Wofford Cemetery. 

Visitation: Friday, November 18, 2011 from 1 until 2 PM just prior to the service time.
