J.T. Weaver age 81 of Guin, AL died Friday, July 2, 2010, in the Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Guin, AL.

Born in Guin, Alabama, he is the Son of the late Louis and Dilmer Gann Weaver, and the Husband of the late Mary Helen Silas Weaver.  He had lived in Guin all of his life and was a member of the New Hope Church of Christ where he had served as a Deacon.  He had been a farmer for most of his life.  He had retired from 3M with over 30 years of employment. He had also retired from the Guin Fire Department with over 50 years of service.  He enjoyed fishing and the great outdoors.

He is survived by A Son, Mitchell (Lillian) Weaver of Dothan, AL, 2 Sisters, Louise Wilson and Gladys Smith, and A Brother, Rollen Weaver, all of Guin, AL, One Grandson, Stephen Weaver of Murfreesboro, TN, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Mary Helen Silas Weaver, A Sister, Ora Mae (Bennett) Smith, A Brother, James LJ Weaver, and A Brother-In-Law, Grover Wilson.

Services held Saturday, July 3, 2010, at 2:00 pm from the New Hope Church of Christ with burial in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Bro. Roger Hubbert officiating.  Visitation will be Saturday, July 3, 2010, just prior to service.

In lieu of flowers please made donations to the New Hope Church of Christ, Hospice of Northwest Alabama, or the Guin Fire Department.
