Hugh Daniel Guyton, (Danny) age 66, of Springfield, GA, died Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at his residence.

The Alabama native served in the U.S. Army and was a paint and hardware specialist.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie Banks and Mary Wadeema Strawbridge Guyton; and sister, Paula Guyton. Danny loved Music and had recorded a single song that he a wrote himself back in the 1970’s called the Curse of an Angel, the song played on many radio stations all over the Country. He had also accompanied many other song recordings with his fellow musicians with his musical talents.  

Survivors include his wife, Christa B. Guyton of Springfield, GA, children, Chris Adams of Reidsville, GA, Patricia Gibson of Claxton, GA, Sharon Hamby of Rincon, GA, Danny Guyton, and Ashley Barton both of Springfield, GA,. 15 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; brothers, Ed Guyton, Billy Guyton, Ronnie Guyton, and Marchall Guyton all of Sulligent, AL, Johnnie, and Jack Both of Atmore, AL, and Ricky Guyton of Fayette, AL, sisters, Mary Ann and Kathy of Sulligent, AL; and a Host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services held 2 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2010 at Strickland Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Effingham Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Bro J.T. Guyton officiating.

Full Military Graveside Honors were held at the Cemetery.
