Frankie Marie Knight Mixon Channell age 67 died Monday, December 14, 2009 at her residence in Sulligent, Alabama. 

She was born in Lamar County to the late Horace Burton and Allie Mae Stephenson Knight. Frankie was a Member of the Detroit Baptist Church and was a resident of the Detroit and Sulligent are most of her life. She had worked in the Garment Industry and also the Care Center of Vernon where she loved to care for the elderly. 

Survived by her Husband: Redus Jackson Channell of Sulligent, AL, One Daughter: Kimberly Murphy of Sulligent, AL, One Step Daughter: Rita Adams and her husband Mike of Guin, AL, One Son Jonathon Mixon and his wife Renee of Detroit, AL, One Step Son: James Channell and his wife Linda of Detroit, AL, Two Sisters: June King of Detroit, AL and Ann Gosa of Sulligent, AL, One Brother: Bobby Joe Knight of Detroit, AL, Two Grandchildren and Thirteen Step Grandchildren and Six Great Grandchildren. 

Services held Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 2:00 pm from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Bro.William Truett Allison and Bro. Danny Stanford officiating.
