Eunice Laverne Carden Risner age 80 of Sulligent, AL died Sunday, June 13, 2010 at the Marion Regional Nursing Home in Hamilton, AL. 

She was born Lamar County, Shiloh North (Lost Creek) Community, to the late Robert Matthew and Avist Elizabeth Blaylock Carden. Mrs. Risner was a member of the Wesley Chapel Methodist Church, she loved growing flowers, gardening and cross stitching Quilts. She had lived in Memphis, TN for many years before returning home to enjoy their retirement. 

Survived by her Husband: Gene L. Risner of Sulligent, AL, one Sister Gwyneth Jean Carden Dalton and her husband Jimmie Wayne Dalton of Huntsville, AL, Two Nephews: James Matthew (Linda) Carden, Jr. of Batesville, MS and Robert Fred (Diana) Carden of Smackover, AR, one Great Nephew: Robert Shane (Tami) Carden, one Great Great Nephew: Corey Carden, Three Great Nieces: Heather Michelle (Austin) Carden Lambert, Nicole Elise Carden and Monica Alexandra Carden. 

Preceded in death by Her Mother Avist Elizabeth Blaylock Carden, Her Father: Robert Matthew Carden, Her Brother: James Matthew Carden, Sr. and a Sister in Law: Azell Christian Carden. 

Services held Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 2: pm from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Edward Puckett officiating. 

Visitation: Wednesday, June 16, 2010 from 1 until 2: pm just prior to the service time at the Funeral Home. 

Pallbearers were: Steve Scott, Richard Jaggers, Paul Scott, Robert Bevis, Dewey Lee Carruth and David Clifton. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Cancer Society or the Wesley Chapel Cemetery Fund.
