Carol Anne Gardner, 54, of Winfield, AL, died Saturday, November 20, 2010 in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, AL. 

She was born in Corinth, MS to Travis V. and Frankie Guin Hamilton and was the wife of John W. Gardner. Carol was a member of the Guin Church of Christ and worked for many years at McGuire Drug in Guin, AL. She loved reading books, writing in her journals and decorating her home. 

She is survived by her husband, John W. Gardner of Winfield, AL; her parents, Travis V. and Frankie Guin Hamilton of Guin, AL; her daughter, Mandy Silas Richardson of Guin, AL; her son, Dustin Silas of Winfield, AL; her step-daughters, Julia Gardner of Birmingham, AL and Amanda South of New Orleans, LA; her sisters, Vicky Markham of Center Point, AL, Beverly Clifton of Guin, AL and Rhonda Coker of Alabaster, AL; her grandchildren, Madison Silas, Payton Silas, Carson Silas and Brodie Silas and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 22, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Guin City Cemetery. Don Williams, W.T. Allison and Bill Rayburn officiating.
