Carl J. Humbers age 62 of Sulligent, AL died Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, AL. 

He was born in Marion County Alabama to the late Troy Franklin and Jessie L. O’Mary Humbers. He was a Veteran of the Viet Nam War having served in the Air Force and was a member of the Beaverton Free Will Baptist Church. He was an operator for the Trailways Bus Lines for several years and had retired from the Air Craft Maintenance at the Columbus Air Force Base. 

Survived by his Wife: Marilyn Robinson Humbers of Sulligent, AL, One Daughter: Dianna Fisher of Northport, AL, One Sister Shirley Cummings of Millport, AL, Three Brothers: Jerry Humbers of Sulligent, AL, Kenneth Humbers of Fayette, AL and Eugene Humbers of Homerville, GA, Three Grandchildren: Emily Fisher, Kelsey Fisher and Lindsey Fisher. 

Funeral Services held Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 11: am from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Gilmer Edition of the Sulligent, City Cemetery. Bro. Ed Puckett and Bro. Dwight Bailey Officiating. 

Pallbearers were: Eddie Pickle, Robert Anderson, Marty Haynes, Dan Brown, Jerry Reeves and Doyle Cannon.
