Bobby Mason age 71 of Sulligent, AL died Monday, September 12, 2011 at his residence. 

Born in Lamar County, he is the son of the late Clyde Wilson and Annie Florence Woodham Mason. Bobby was a member of the Mt. Olive Church of Christ and a resident of the Molly Community. He was a member of the Alabama Peace Officers Association, the Lamar County FOP Lodge # 33, and the Masonic Lodge of Vernon. 

Survived by his Wife: Geraldine Vandiver Mason of Sulligent, AL, One Daughter: Rhonda Michelle Mason of Sulligent, AL, Two Sons: Doug (Misty) Mason of Jasper, AL and Bill (Deborah Rushing) Mason of Cottondale, AL, One Brother: Dennis Mason of Linden, AL Three Grandchildren: Ryan Coan, Andrew Mason and Abbey Mason, Five Step Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren. 

Services held Thursday, September 15, 2011at 2:00 PM from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Macedonia Cemetery. Bro. Sonny McClellan and Bro. Elvis Cochran officiating. 

Pallbearers were: Terry Perkins, Larry Perkins, Alton Friday, Jerry Hayes, Pud Merchant and Dennis Sanford. 

Honorary Pallbearers: The Lamar County FOP Lodge #33.
